I have used West End Cycles twice since moving to Glasgow. Both times I have received a fantastic service! Friendly, quick, great value for money and with quality work done. For anyone living in or near the West End I would certainly recommend this shop.
Have been a bunch of times and have always had a good experience. Very helpful, fast and reliable.

Really nice and approachable people working here who won't make you feel stupid for knowing little about bikes. Always friendly on the phone as well. Had put my bike in for a service but had a minor issue after the service that wasn't there before. Took it back and had the issue resolved with absolutely no problem that day. Feel it should have been caught during the service - the chain needed more lube - so taking a star off for that.
Staff are first class, very professional, can't help you enough. If it's not for you, it's not for you. Nothing is forced on you, it's about finding what's right for you, whether it's the cheaper option or the more expensive option, unbiased professional friendly help and advice. Proud to have Bikechain as my local bike shop.
Braehead Shopping Centre, 142 King's Inch Rd, Glasgow G51 4BT, UK – 0141 885 2701
Very helpful staff used car reg of car to get optimum product for car. Store sells wide selection of automotive products and will fit them for a small fee which saves on the fiddling about. Also available are bikes and spares etc for bikes. Unlike some Halfords branches there is no service area here . This is at Braehead so parking is free and usually quite easy
Halfords market themselves as a “superstore” and sell a large array of stock. This however maybe where they miss out on the “super” part. Car parts are a little overpriced but for the convenience of getting bulbs or wipers fitted you might happily pay more, and pay again for fitting. Bikes for children are poor quality imports, look good but soft alloys used on parts and fasteners. Serious adult cyclists are seldom seen here. Air fresheners maps roof racks tents maps towing equipment and tools are all here, but at a mid to high price. The staff are very helpful and in general, know exactly where their stock is situated. So why three stars? I’m disabled and pleased to see a Huge car park, disabled parking clearly visible, with lowered kerbs outside the door. I visited with three grandchildren expecting to pay between £500-600 for three bicycles. I did not expect to be told bicycles are upstairs at the back of the shop. Ok thanks, where is the lift? We don’t have one! I find that unacceptable in 2018 I spoke to two young mothers with toddlers and babes in a pram, all faced with the same ACCESS problems. See photos for the only access to 30% of the shop. Poor, poor service, to a large part of the community. However, maybe this is part of their marketing that doesn't make it to their adverts. Come in (if you can) give up your cash and get out.
